Elementary Ukrainian Teacher (1.0 FTE) (ALH) Continuous

A.L. Horton Elementary is seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE) teacher for their Ukrainian Language and Culture program. Knowledge of Ukrainian culture is required. Although fluency in the Ukrainian language is an asset for the position applicants who can proficiently read write and speak Ukrainian will be considered. The successful applicant will also teach a homeroom in English. The specific grade level for the homeroom position will be determined based on school needs and the successful applicant.

A.L. Horton Elementary serves approximately 335 students in kindergarten to Grade 6 with 17 teaching staff and 14 support staff. The school is located in Vegreville AB approximately 90 kilometres east of Sherwood Park AB.
