Qualifications and Experience

Ph.D. or Doctorate in Psychology and registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO); declared areas of competency in school psychology (required), clinical psychology (preferred) and counselling psychology (preferred) with children and adolescents.

  • 7-10 years of both School Board and clinical experience with children and adolescents. Thorough knowledge and understanding of provincial legislation, as well as the standards, ethics and guidelines for registered psychologists (CPO).
  • Leadership experience effectively managing and mentoring psychology professionals.
  • Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and conflict management skills. Experience with managing Electronic Health Records.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge and understanding of School Board operations. Interested applicants may apply until the close of business on July 12, 2024.
