Child-centred, play-based learning philosophy Supportive leadership and collaborative team culture Commitment to professional growth and best practices Purpose-driven work that makes a real impact in early years Paid winter break closure What You Will Do Directly interact with children between the ages of 3 months to 4 years Supervise small and large group activities that take place both indoor and outdoor Design and facilitate age-appropriate activities that support the cognitive, physical, and social development of the children aligned with Ontario’s HDLH framework Support the children with developing their pro-social skills such as sharing, problem solving and cooperation through play-based and Montessori inspired learning Observe and document children’s progress and behaviour during their play and activities; maintain required records Assist children in washroom routines, dressing, and lunchtime Maintain a hygienic/safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment in compliance with CCEYA Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members Follow health, safety and hygiene standards at all times Participate in team meetings, professional development, and reflective practice What We’re Looking For (Qualifications & Experience) Energetic, motivated, and dynamic teacher with a passion for early learning Minimum 1-2 years’ experience working with young children in a childcare or early learning setting Registered ECE in good standing with the Ontario College of ECE Valid Vulnerable Sector Check (clear and current) Valid Criminal Background Check (clear and current) Standard First Aid & CPR (Level C) certification Strong understanding of child safety, supervision, and positive guidance strategies Reliable, professional, and able to work collaboratively in a team environment Knowledge of HDLH and CCEYA Join Us If you are a caring and committed early childhood professional who thrives in a dynamic, child-focused environment, we would love to hear from you.
