Quality Inspector/CMM-Aerospace-Afternoons

Core Responsibilities:
· Program and/or operate CMM for inspection of precision machined components.
· Complete first-off and in-process inspections independently.
· Use appropriate manual inspection tools, fixtures and indicators.
· Generate and prepare CMM reports and AS9102 First Article Inspection reports.
· Read and interpret blueprints.
· Understand geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
· All other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
· 5+ years' experience required (10+ years preferred).
· Capable of using CMM programming and operating software.
· Familiarity with CMM Manager software preferred.
· Certificate of qualification, college degree or other training in mechanical inspection an asset.
· Set-up and operation of manual CMM is an asset.
· Previous aerospace experience preferred.
· Previous job shop experience preferred.
