Senior Data Science Developer

Job Summary:

The Senior Data Science Developer will lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI solutions, including Generative AI applications and intelligent agents. This role focuses on creating reusable AI components and accelerating enterprise AI initiatives by integrating cutting-edge technologies such as large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, and agentic AI within a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and implement Generative AI applications, intelligent agents, and AI-enabled solutions for key business use cases.
• Build reusable AI components, services, APIs, and solution patterns for use across multiple business domains.
• Develop AI solutions leveraging large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agentic AI, and machine learning techniques.
• Integrate AI applications with enterprise data sources, APIs, applications, and business workflows.
• Create prototypes and proofs of concept, advancing successful solutions to secure, scalable, and production-ready implementations.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Data Architects, and business teams to translate requirements into AI solutions.
• Apply best software engineering practices, including version control, testing, documentation, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Evaluate AI solution performance, reliability, accuracy, and scalability, driving continuous improvements.
• Incorporate Responsible AI principles, privacy, security, and data governance into AI solution design and development.
• Contribute to enterprise AI standards, reusable patterns, technical documentation, and knowledge transfer initiatives.

Required Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL for production-quality AI application development.
• Hands-on experience with large language models (LLMs), Generative AI, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and agentic AI.
• Strong software engineering skills including version control (Git), CI/CD, testing, and performance monitoring.
• Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise applications and data platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud-based AI platforms, specifically Microsoft Azure AI Foundry, Azure Machine Learning, and Azure AI services.
• Understanding of prompt engineering, model evaluation, Responsible AI, security, privacy, and AI governance.
• Strong foundation in statistics and machine learning concepts such as classification, regression, clustering, feature engineering, and ML pipelines.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Power Automate, VSCode, Jira, and Databricks within AI development environments.
• Proven ability to develop reusable AI components and solution patterns for enterprise use.

• Robust technical foundation in machine learning including classification, regression, clustering, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
