Residence Life Student Advisor

Support residence students through leadership, communication, and programming while living in an assigned residence room during scheduled duties. Create a safe community.

The Resident Advisor is a hired student leader, mentor, resource, and support for students living in residence. This indoor position requires current full-time enrollment at the institution. You will foster student transition, personal success, and academic success through community development, customer service, and student support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate monthly social and educational programs
• Respond to student questions, concerns, crises, and emergencies
• Assist with roommate and community conflict resolution
• Refer residents to appropriate personal, social, and academic resources
• Complete incident reports, evaluations, and assigned administrative tasks

Requirements:

• Current full-time student enrollment at the institution
• Maintain a minimum 65% GPA during employment
• Superior verbal communication and customer service skills
• Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C
• Complete required training before regular duties begin
