Construction Safety Coordinator Worksites

Lead construction safety support through practical field guidance, inspections, and strong communication with crews and supervisors. Travel to jobsites is required.

As an experienced Safety Coordinator, you will help maintain and improve DM Henderson Roofing Ltd’s Occupational Health and Safety Program. You will work across field and construction operations, supporting orientations, training, inspections, incident investigations, documentation, and COR® program activities. The role requires practical hazard controls and relationship building.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Occupational Health and Safety Program
• Conduct jobsite inspections and follow corrective actions
• Identify hazards and develop practical controls
• Coordinate orientations, toolbox meetings, and safety training
• Assist incident investigations and maintain safety documentation

Requirements:

• Two to five years of related safety experience
• Working knowledge of WorkSafeBC requirements
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s licence and jobsite travel ability
• Microsoft Office and electronic safety-management system proficiency

Support construction crews with inspections, training, compliance, and practical safety leadership across DM Henderson Roofing Ltd operations.
