They provide a range of technical services, including monitoring, inspection, data analysis, and treatment support, helping clients improve system performance, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Review and perform QA/QC on wastewater flow monitoring data (depth, velocity, and flow) across multiple client projects.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve data anomalies, equipment issues, and data gaps to ensure accurate and reliable reporting.
  • Analyze flow monitoring data using statistical methods and industry best practices, including dry weather flow analysis and inflow & infiltration (I&I) assessments.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve data review procedures, QA/QC standards, reporting templates, and analysis workflows.
  • Prepare technical reports, data summaries, and project updates for municipal and industrial clients.

  • Hands-on knowledge of wastewater flow monitoring equipment, including area-velocity flow meters, rain gauges, and related instrumentation.
  • Proficiency with flow monitoring software, Microsoft Excel, and working with large, multi-site datasets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends, anomalies, and data quality issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing technical reports and presenting findings to clients.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Experience with flow data reconstitution, flow separation, or inflow & infiltration (I&I) analysis is considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted data processing tools or programming languages such as Python or R is an asset.
  • Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related technical discipline.
