Job description
UPS seeks a seasonal Driver Helper in Picton, using strong customer service and package handling skills for local deliveries. This part-time position requires no driving.
As a part-time seasonal Driver Helper, you will assist UPS Package Drivers with deliveries and pickups around Picton. You will meet drivers locally, walk packages to customers, and learn UPS handling methods. The schedule covers Monday through Friday, with variable three-to-five-hour shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet UPS drivers at assigned local meet points
- Deliver and pick up UPS packages efficiently
- Walk packages to UPS drop boxes and customers
- Execute UPS package handling and delivery methods
- Support customer service through efficient package delivery
Requirements:
- Work Monday through Friday, up to 25 hours weekly
- Remain flexible as start and finish times vary
- Lift up to 70 pounds unassisted
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Demonstrate strong customer service skills
