Early Childhood Educator Kitchen Assistant

Support children and meal service as an Early Childhood Educator in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, using Level 1 ECE and food preparation skills.

Kids & Company seeks an On-Call Supply Kitchen Assistant / Float to support daily care. You will assist with routines, activities, learning experiences, and classroom coverage. The work also includes meal and snack preparation, portioning, and service throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, portion, and serve meals and snacks
• Support children through daily routines and activities
• Assist children during learning experiences
• Cover classrooms, playgrounds, and outdoor activities

Requirements:

• Level 1 ECE certification required
• Food Handler Certification
• Valid First Aid and CPR
