Medical Device Repair Technician

Repair medical technology onsite in Richmond Hill, Ontario, using inspection, troubleshooting, hand tools, and test equipment to restore Olympus products.

As a Repair Technician I, you will evaluate, disassemble, assemble, repair, and inspect endoscopes, electronics, or microscopy products. Working under the Repair Supervisor, you will follow Olympus manuals, procedures, and product standards. The position emphasizes safety, accurate service records, quality, productivity, and proper product functioning. Basic computer skills, attention to detail, and customer focus support daily technical work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and estimate customer products received for repair
• Troubleshoot, disassemble, assemble, repair, and inspect products
• Use hand tools and test equipment during repairs
• Maintain electronic and manual service records accurately
• Follow safe work practices and Olympus repair procedures

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Zero to one year of technical repair experience
• Ability to read and follow manuals and work instructions
• Basic Microsoft Office computer skills
• English communication skills required; French bilingual ability is an asset
