AWS Cloud Solution Architect

Shape AWS architecture and write production code remotely as a Solution Architect for a public-sector digital education platform. Edmonton attendance may be requested infrequently.

This experienced contract architect guides an established agile cloud-development initiative and related applications. You will translate requirements into designs, mentor developers, and contribute with C#/.NET, DynamoDB, JavaScript frameworks, RESTful APIs, and CI/CD tooling. The platform delivers curriculum and educational resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide technical architecture for digital education applications
• Develop, review, test, and deploy cloud application code
• Translate requirements into functional and technical designs
• Mentor developers and provide technical direction
• Manage technical risks and application quality

Requirements:

• Five years architecting software projects with a university degree or diploma
• Seven years architecting software projects with a one-year certificate
• Three years using C#, .NET, AWS DynamoDB, and VS Code
• Three years architecting AWS software development projects
• Three years developing with Angular 2.0+ and/or React
