HVAC Controls Technician

Work with HVAC controls, Siemens BMCS, and BAS at Equans, supporting automated systems that regulate heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment.

As a Controls Technician, you will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automated HVAC control systems. Your work supports performance, energy efficiency, safety, and environmental standards. The position requires HVAC controls expertise, mechanical and electrical component knowledge, and familiarity with building automation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wire and program automated HVAC control panels
• Diagnose and repair system malfunctions
• Perform preventive maintenance on building systems
• Adjust Siemens BMCS for HVAC equipment
• Maintain critical spare parts inventory

Requirements:

• Authorization to work in Canada
• Canadian residency for at least five years
• Security clearance eligibility
• Certificate allowing HVAC-R work up to 600V
• Knowledge of Arc Flash requirements and safe practices
