Janitorial Cleaner Nova Scotia

Support sanitary workplaces in Nova Scotia through janitorial cleaning, waste removal, and light maintenance. Work independently while following health and safety procedures.

As a Custodian, you will clean and sanitize floors, washrooms, offices, and common areas. The position is located in Prime Brook and offers 4.5 hours per week. Previous custodial experience is an asset, although it is not required for consideration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sanitize washrooms, floors, offices, and common areas
• Remove garbage and recycling from assigned spaces
• Complete light maintenance tasks as needed
• Report issues requiring attention or follow-up
• Maintain compliance with health and safety procedures

Requirements:

• Dependable approach to janitorial responsibilities
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Capacity for standing, lifting, and bending
• Custodial experience considered an asset, not mandatory
