Deliver respiratory therapy at Ridge Meadows Hospital in Maple Ridge, using clinical assessment and patient education within an interdisciplinary team.

Fraser Health is hiring a casual Respiratory Therapist for Ridge Meadows Hospital. The position maintains a clinical caseload, provides direct care, and educates patients with varied respiratory illnesses. You will perform respiratory function testing, support mechanical ventilation, and contribute to respiratory service planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients and develop care plans or education sessions
• Perform pulmonary function and respiratory therapy tests
• Monitor equipment calibration and quality control checks
• Support cardiac arrest and trauma teams
• Maintain ventilation support and artificial airways

Requirements:

• Approved Respiratory Therapy program graduation
• Two years’ recent acute care clinical experience
• Successful Canadian Board of Respiratory Care credentialing exam
• Current CPR Level C and Neonatal Program certification
• Eligible for Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists membership
