Assistant Store Manager Retail Leadership

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will welcome customers and represent Carter’s, OshKosh B’gosh, Skip*Hop, and Little Planet. You will foster inclusive store experiences while coaching employees toward service standards and results. This role combines retail leadership, merchandising execution, team development, and operational controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute workforce management for customer-focused sales floors
• Coach employees on service standards and omnichannel experiences
• Analyze business performance and communicate team KPIs
• Support recruiting, hiring, training, and team development
• Plan merchandising, promotions, markdowns, and product placement

Requirements:

• Minimum one year of retail or related management experience
• Demonstrated leadership, supervisory, and customer engagement skills
• Professional verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, and web navigation
• High school diploma and ability to lift 40 pounds
