Special Operator Well Start-Up Lead

Lead well start-ups and facility commissioning as a Special Operator near Slave Lake, Alberta, on an 8/6 rotation with Roska DBO.

Roska DBO seeks a Special Operator for North Clearwater field and facility operations. This role requires well start-up, pipeline operations, commissioning, troubleshooting, and regulatory knowledge. You will coordinate with Lead Operators, Production Foreman, Engineering, Construction, and Integrity teams while supporting operational readiness and production optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead new well and pad start-ups through stabilization
• Review drawings and identify construction deficiencies
• Commission temporary equipment and operational integrations
• Complete readiness inspection reports and documentation
• Maximize facility uptime across assigned areas

Requirements:

• 10+ years oil and gas experience
• 5+ years field operations experience
• Strong well start-up and facility commissioning experience
• Pipeline operations and troubleshooting experience
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
