Front End Checkout Associate

Support customer transactions at Walmart in Fort McMurray while delivering friendly service and maintaining accurate, secure cash handling throughout checkout.

As a Front End Checkout Team Associate, you will process purchases efficiently and help create positive shopping experiences. Responsibilities include greeting customers, supporting bagging and merchandise loading, promoting credit card service, product protection, and charity initiatives. You will also assist customers using self-checkout options.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet every customer politely and courteously
• Process purchase transactions efficiently and accurately
• Deactivate merchandise according to the EAS Program
• Assist customers with bagging and merchandise loading
• Support correct and efficient self-checkout use

Requirements:

• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Follow safe work practices and proper lifting procedures
• Maintain a clean checkout work area
• Handle cash diligently and follow company policies
• Refer service matters to designated front end leaders
