Junior Hydrogeologist Groundwater Consultant

Groundwater fieldwork and hydrogeology projects define this Junior Hydrogeologist/Geologist opportunity with Onterris in Guelph or Oakville, Ontario. Travel across Ontario exceeds 50%.

Support hydrogeological assessments, contaminated site investigations, and regulatory groundwater monitoring programs as a junior professional. Work alongside senior geoscientists and engineers while developing technical and regulatory expertise. Projects span mining, infrastructure, energy, and municipal sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support hydrogeology and groundwater project delivery
• Conduct soil and groundwater sampling during field programs
• Assist monitoring well installation and aquifer testing
• Oversee borehole drilling, field logging, and sample custody
• Prepare reports, work plans, and regulatory submissions

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in geology, hydrogeology, or related field
• One to three years of relevant experience
• Groundwater field experience including sampling or aquifer testing
• Working knowledge of Ontario groundwater regulations
• Valid, clean Class G driver’s license without restrictions
