Adoption Fostering Team Manager

Lead adoption, fostering, and adult placement services with strong social work leadership and family-minded practice at East Renfrewshire Health and Social Care Partnership.

This Team Manager position oversees the Fostering, Adoption and Adult Placement team. You will line-manage the Advanced Practitioner Social Worker for Kinship. The role supports Children’s Services, service development, performance management, and statutory responsibilities across four services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, support, and guide the fostering and adoption team
• Line-manage the Advanced Practitioner Social Worker for Kinship
• Administer financial and other service resources
• Manage performance and contribute to service development
• Promote targeted interventions across required supports and responsibilities

Requirements:

• Professional social work qualification
• Considerable social work experience
• Previous supervisory experience advantageous
• Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills
• Scottish Social Services Council registration or eligibility

Use social work experience, leadership, and analytical skills to strengthen adoption, fostering, and adult placement services across East Renfrewshire.
