Senior Analyst for Finance Projects

Join Bank Australia as a Senior Analyst to drive finance transformation initiatives on a 12-month contract. Lead the automation of reconciliation processes with the BlackLine platform and enhance financial reporting.
This role in the Finance Operations and Accounting team will support the transition to a major banking system through detailed financial analysis, stakeholder collaboration, and process standardization. You'll be instrumental in improving operational efficiency while ensuring compliance and governance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead transition from manual reconciliations to BlackLine
• Collaborate with Finance and Technology teams for implementations
• Support core banking system transitions and GL mapping
• Drive process automation and risk reduction initiatives
• Deliver insightful financial analysis and project support
Requirements:
• Hands-on experience with BlackLine and reconciliation processes
• Expertise in financial controls and balance sheet substantiation
• Advanced analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving
• Professional accounting qualifications (CA or CPA preferred)
• Commitment to Bank Australia values and B Corp goals.
