Technical Sales Application Engineer

Technical sales expertise drives tailored automation solutions at Laurentide, supporting customers and sales teams through the full sales process. This hybrid role serves Eastern Canada.

As an Application Engineer on Laurentide’s inside sales team, you translate customer needs into feasible technical solutions. You support prospecting, proposals, presentations, quotations, and implementation. Success requires product knowledge, customer analysis, and collaboration with engineering, product development, and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Map customer requirements to product capabilities and customized solutions
• Address technical inquiries with accurate, comprehensive information
• Present solutions, benefits, implementation, and integration requirements
• Prepare proposals, technical documentation, and quotations with sales
• Maintain leads, opportunities, and follow-ups in CRM software

Requirements:

• BAC in Engineering or DEC in Engineering Technology
• Written and verbal French communication skills
• English communication skills considered an asset
• Customer service or sales environment experience considered an asset
• Ability to cultivate lasting business relationships
