Financial Reporting Business Operations Analyst

Financial analysis and institutional reporting anchor this full-time Financial Analyst position with Business Operations at the University of Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the Senior Tax Specialist, this analyst supports accurate accounting across payroll, payments, accounts receivable, and reporting processes. The position reviews journal vouchers, assists with reconciliations and variance analysis, and advises processing units on financial controls, policies, and applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support accurate accounting within payroll and payment processes
• Monitor reporting processes within institutional processing units
• Review and approve journal vouchers
• Assist with variance analysis and reconciliations
• Prepare financial statements and accounts receivable reporting

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree in accounting, business, or related discipline
• Three to five years of related experience
• Knowledge of GAAP and fund accounting
• Ability to understand financial systems and solve complex problems
• Professional communication and confidential information-handling skills
