Outside Technical Sales Representative

Apply mechanical equipment expertise as an Outside Technical Sales Representative with Sansom Equipment Limited, serving customers across Newfoundland.

This sales position develops opportunities and relationships with an established customer base. You will review applications, recommend solutions, and build knowledge around pumps, blowers, valves, generators, VFDs, and packaged engineered systems. The territory includes industrial, mining, and municipal applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop sales across Newfoundland’s large geographical territory
• Manage key accounts, consulting engineers, and contractors
• Review applications and recommend suitable customer solutions
• Promote equipment through campaigns, trade shows, and presentations
• Build relationships within established customer accounts

Requirements:

• Experienced sales professional with technical degree or diploma
• Technical knowledge of water and wastewater processes
• Electromechanical understanding related to rotating equipment
• Knowledge of municipal, mining, and industrial sectors
• PLC, VFD, diesel engine, or generation knowledge is an asset
