Job description
Technical consulting and industrial automation knowledge anchor Westburne’s full-time Sales Manager position in Burnaby, serving customers throughout BC. Regular United States travel is required.
As Automation Sales Manager, you will support Rockwell Automation and Westburne representatives with account planning and execution. Your expertise covers Allen-Bradley Controllers, HMI, software, networks, electrical circuits, and single-line drawings. The position requires commercial planning, opportunity development, and customer-facing technical support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support representatives with account planning and execution
- Act as pre-sale technical consultant for customer solutions
- Provide post-sale technical support and customer training
- Conduct technical presentations and product updates
- Execute launches, seminars, and promotional programs
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in electrical, electronic, or automation technology
- Two years’ experience in automation or technical sales support
- Technical understanding of electrical circuits and automation
- Ability to interpret single-line electrical drawings accurately
- Valid driver’s license and passport required for travel
