Job description
Support Toronto users onsite with Windows 11, Microsoft 365, and hands-on desktop troubleshooting across office and laboratory environments.
The IT Specialist provides end-to-end deskside support and serves as a service desk escalation point across locations. Reporting to the End User Services Manager, this role supports business and laboratory computing environments. Work includes onboarding, device lifecycle management, AV support, documentation, and ticket coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite desktop and service desk support
- Build, image, encrypt, maintain, and upgrade devices
- Track inventory and update CMDB records
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and AV issues
- Support tickets, escalations, SLAs, incidents, and outages
Requirements:
- Three or more years of hands-on desktop support experience
- Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 support experience
- Experience with productivity and laboratory software
- Relevant certification, degree, education, training, or experience
- CompTIA A+, MCP, or MCSA preferred
