Pharmacy Assistant Prescription Processing

Support patient-centered pharmacy care through prescription data entry and accurate processing. This Pharmacy Assistant role centers on detail, organization, and service.

You will contribute to pharmacy operations by assembling prescriptions, processing transactions, and recording refill requests. The position includes compounding, pill pack assembly, supply replenishment, and coordinating clinical services. You will also support administrative controls and applicable company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete prescription assembly and prescription data entry
• Process customer transactions for prescription receipt and release
• Record refill requests and deliveries from patients
• Perform compounding and pill pack assembly
• Schedule professional clinical pharmacy services

Requirements:

• Pharmacy Assistant Diploma preferred from a recognized post-secondary institute
• Previous pharmacy experience considered an asset
• Excellent attention to detail in pharmacy tasks
• Ability to multitask and work independently
• Ability to follow applicable company standards
