Job description
Lead commercial HVAC/R service with EDL Building Solutions across Edmonton and area, applying diagnostic expertise to demanding customer systems. Travel is required.
As a Lead Journeyman HVAC/R Service Technician, you will support commercial and light industrial projects. Diagnose, repair, maintain, and install systems while communicating clear solutions to clients. Accurate documentation, safety compliance, and professional service remain central.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose commercial and light industrial HVAC/R systems
- Repair and maintain HVAC/R equipment accurately
- Perform scheduled maintenance and emergency service calls
- Explain issues and solutions clearly to clients
- Complete diagnostics, parts, and follow-up documentation
Requirements:
- Journeyperson certification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
- Commercial HVAC/R service experience required
- Five years servicing systems from two to 300 horsepower
- Five years working with scroll, screw, and reciprocating compressors
- Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals
