CNC Mill Setup Machinist

Set up CNC milling machines at Arrow Engineered Products in Stratford, Ontario, using technical drawings, tooling, and precision measurement.

This machinist role supports engineered products for nuclear, chemical mixing, heat exchanger, and autoclave systems. You will configure CNC machines, interpret blueprints and CAD models, inspect parts, and troubleshoot setup issues. The position requires five years of CNC setup experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install tools, fixtures, and machine settings from production plans
• Configure speeds, feeds, and coolant flow
• Conduct test runs and adjust machine parameters
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Maintain setup records and production inspection logs

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum five years of CNC setup experience
• Strong CNC milling machine setup knowledge
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
