Elder Care Provider Wanted - Seeking Caring Elder Care Provider In Mississauga, On – $25.00 Per

LOCATION: Our house is in Mississauga, Ontario. It is very close to Clarkson Go Station. CLIENT: We are seeking an elder care provider to give care to Ruth, who is an 84 year-old woman with a pleasant disposition. Since she has Parkinson's, her movements are slower than average. But, she can walk with a 4-wheeled walker. SALARY: $25 per hour. We are looking for someone who can work either full-time or part-time, providing essential home care services. This includes cooking a simple meal and washing the dishes. OTHER DUTIES: The ideal candidate will have experience in administering medication, assisting with bathing, and offering personal care. You will oversee her exercise routine which includes the Treadmill, Recumbent Cross-Trainer and some physiotherapy. You will also oversee her daily cognitive activities, like games, painting and memorizing Bible verses. It is a bonus if you know how to play the piano or how to play chess. TRANSPORTATION: Ruth goes to an exercise class every Friday morning, so if you have a vehicle that can transport her in her wheelchair that is a major plus! Otherwise, Ruth takes TransHelp. SCHEDULE: This position is live out, allowing for flexibility in your daily schedule. We have two shifts available everyday: Morning 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM Evening 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Choose which shifts work best for you! There is some flexibility with when shifts begin and end.
