Project Coordinator/ Energy Project

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator for a contract opportunity supporting construction, energy, and infrastructure projects in Petawawa and Kingston, Ontario. This role is ideal for a highly organized administrative and project support professional with experience in Procore, document control, and construction project coordination.

As a Project Coordinator, you will support important energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives, including HVAC systems, heat pumps, thermal energy storage, building automation, and related infrastructure upgrades. You will work in a structured, collaborative project environment with experienced teams, clear processes, and meaningful public sector project work.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage Procore project records, including drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, transmittals, and related project documentation.
- Maintain document registers, revision control, SharePoint files, and organized project records across multiple sites.
- Coordinate project meetings, prepare minutes, track action items, and support progress reporting.
- Assist with change orders, invoicing, progress claims, subcontractor documentation, and compliance tracking.
- Track subcontractor insurance, WSIB, safety documentation, and site access requirements.
- Prepare closeout documentation, including as-built drawings, warranties, commissioning records, and operations and maintenance manuals.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay Rate: $50.00 to $55.00 per hour.
- Job Type: Contract/Temporary.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid.
- Location: Petawawa and Kingston, Ontario.
- Travel: Approximately 25% between project sites.
