Portfolio Architect

Your NewpanyOur client is a large organization with aplex, business-critical technology environment. They are advancing their technology resilience capabilities and seeking a senior architect to shape how critical platforms and services withstand and recover from disruption.

Your New RoleAs Portfolio Architect – Technology Resilience, you will define the architecture, standards, patterns, and roadmap for enterprise resilience. You will lead architecture across Disaster Recovery, Cyber Recovery, Operational Resilience, recovery automation, reliability engineering, and dependency management while embedding resilience-by-design principles across technology platforms and strategic investments.

Key Responsibilities

• Define resilience architecture, standards, roadmaps, and reference patterns.
• Design target-state architectures for Disaster Recovery, Cyber Recovery, High Availability, and Operational Resilience.
• Establish patterns for Infrastructure as Code, automated failover, orchestration, and recovery validation.
• Embed SRE, observability, telemetry, SLOs, and continuous resilience testing into architecture standards.
• Develop dependency models connecting business services, applications, infrastructure, data, integrations, and third parties.
• Partner with Enterprise Architecture, Security, Cloud, Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, and Operations teams.

What You'll Need to SucceedMust-Have Requirements

• University degree inputer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive technology experience spanning architecture, engineering, infrastructure, cloud, or reliability.
• Experience in Enterprise, Portfolio, Solution, or Platform Architecture, or Technology Strategy.
• Experience with Disaster Recovery, Cyber Recovery, Operational Resilience, High Availability, or Reliability Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, Infrastructure as Code, recovery automation, dependency mapping, and observability.
• Proven ability to provide architectural leadership acrossplex enterprise environments.

Nice-to-Have Requirements

• ServiceNow CMDB and Service Mapping experience.
• SRE, DevSecOps, or Platform Engineering experience.
• Knowledge of cloud operating models, SLOs, resilience telemetry, and automated testing.
