Our financial services client is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer IV (8-10 years) to support Databricks infrastructure and Azure cloud operations using IaC, DevOps, and automation tooling

Join a new project supporting processing initiatives within a complex banking environment. This role focuses on Databricks infrastructure setup, Azure cloud services, automation, and deployment activities within enterprise-scale applications. The position offers ownership within a newly formed team and supports long-term project delivery. This is a long-term contract opportunity with high visibility across critical infrastructure initiatives.

Must Haves

• 8-10 years in Site Reliability Engineering and cloud infrastructure environments
• Azure services including IaaS, IaC, and ASP
• Databricks infrastructure setup and configuration in enterprise environments
• Terraform, SALT, Ansible, or CHEF for configuration management
• Undergraduate Degree or Technical Certificate

Nice to Have

• Relevant Azure certifications
• Big data technologies, databases, data storage, and indexing approaches
• Jenkins, Github, Bitbucket, Nexus, or similar toolsets
• Shell scripting, PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation

Responsibilities

• Deploy complex applications within Azure cloud environments
• Configure Databricks infrastructure in enterprise environments
• Manage cloud infrastructure services and applications
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, Shell, or Python
• Support CI, CD, CM, and IaC activities within DevOps environments
• Monitor infrastructure, services, applications, and logging environments
• Resolve complex development-related and infrastructure issues
