Job description

Our public sector client is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer / Platform Specialist to design, develop, and support enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions using IRM, BCM, and Automated Test Framework (ATF)

Join a ServiceNow Platform Team supporting enterprise-scale initiatives across Integrated Risk Management (IRM), Business Continuity Management (BCM), Legal Service Delivery (LSD), and custom scoped applications. This role combines hands-on ServiceNow development with technical leadership, code reviews, solution design, and platform governance activities. The engagement supports complex platform modernization and release activities within a large public sector environment.

Contract, Hybrid (Ottawa, Montreal, Vancouver, or Calgary) - 2 days/week on-site (subject to change)

Must Haves

  • 7+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development with 2+ years supporting IRM
  • Experience acting as a Platform Specialist, Lead Developer, or providing technical oversight on ServiceNow implementations
  • Experience supporting one or more of: Business Continuity Management (BCM), IRM, Legal Service Delivery (LSD), Custom ServiceNow applications, Release Ops
  • Strong ServiceNow development experience including: Javascript, Glide APIs, FlowDesigner, IntegrationHub, UI Builder
  • Reliability status clearance eligibility

Nice to Have

  • Experience developing and maintaining Automated Test Framework (ATF) test suites
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (IRM)
  • French and English bilingualism

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to ServiceNow development teams
  • Review solution designs, technical approaches, and development practices
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to technical and development standards
  • Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow applications and platform capabilities
  • Develop business rules, client scripts, UI policies, Flow Designer automations, Script Includes, integrations, and custom applications
  • Design, implement, and maintain Automated Test Framework (ATF) test suites
  • Develop and support integrations using REST APIs, IntegrationHub, and enterprise integration patterns
