Senior Platform Engineer (Angular/.NET)

Salary: $208,000 - 208,000 per year

Requirements:

• At least 7 years of professional software development experience (preferred).
• Experience creating reusable libraries, frameworks, SDKs, or shared platform services.
• Strong knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, enterprise authentication and authorization, HTTP, REST APIs, and modern web application architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD.
• Strong automated testing practices and experience with Git and CI/CD.
• Web Platform stream: strong Angular and TypeScript / JavaScript skills, with a solid understanding of browser security.
• Backend / Identity Platform stream: strong C# and modern .NET / ASP.NET Core skills; experience designing enterprise APIs and session-management solutions; strong knowledge of API security and distributed architecture.
• Nice to have: AWS; OpenTelemetry or distributed tracing; experience using AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, or GitHub Copilot.
• Web Platform additional assets: MSAL, micro-frontends, or ASP.NET Core / C# experience.
• Backend / Identity additional assets: Redis or distributed caching, API Gateway, Backend-for-Frontend (BFF), PostgreSQL, event-driven architecture, or Python / FastAPI experience.

Responsibilities:

• Build reusable web platform components, frontend libraries, and SDK capabilities for the Web Platform stream.
• Integrate authentication and authorization, and implement session-related frontend behavior.
• Establish shared patterns for API integration, error handling, logging, telemetry, and configuration, and create reference implementations for application teams.
• Build reusable backend platform services and common libraries for the Backend / Identity Platform stream.
• Implement authentication, authorization, session management, and secure token handling.
• Establish standards for API security and integration, as well as error handling, logging, tracing, and production service behavior.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers across both streams to keep frontend and backend platforms aligned.
• Provide development teams with technical guidance and reference implementations.
