We are a family in Parksville, British Columbia, looking to hire a part-time elder care provider to assist our loved one during a period where their primary caregiver is away due to a family emergency. This position is ideal for someone who can offer live-out support and is compassionate, reliable, and attentive. The primary responsibilities will include providing personal care and companionship, assisting with daily activities, assisting in the cooking of an evening meal, participating and driving for occasional errands (like groceries) and offering a short term (roughly 4 weeks) respite. We believe in creating a nurturing environment that prioritizes comfort and well-being. Candidates should have experience in elder care, and a genuine passion for helping others. Flexibility in scheduling is a must, as we want our loved one to receive care tailored to their needs. We are offering $25-$35 per hour commensurate with experience for the right candidate.
