Job description

The sonographer that joins our team will:

• Perform all types of gynecological and obstetrical examinations
• Assist doctors in the ultrasound guided procedures, including but not limited to: sonohysterograms, ovum retrievals, and embryo transfers (training will be provided)
• Have the ability to work as a team member as well as on your own using tactfulness, initiative, and independent judgment
• Demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills
• Have competency with computer software
• Maintain proper care and cleaning of ultrasound equipment

A benefit to working at Care Imaging is that your hours are predictable and consistent – no shift work. There is onsite, paid parking for employees. This position does not include weekend or holiday shifts, however, should an opportunity arise and you work a weekend or statutory holiday, you will be paid at a premium rate.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be registered in good standing as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (DMS) with CMRITO, Sonography Canada and/or ARDMS
• Must have personal Professional Liability Insurance (PLI)

*Certification in Nuchal Translucency with an active license through Fetal Medicine Foundation an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $36.00-$43.00 per hour
