About the Role
The Department of International Business, Supply Chain Management & Aviation at Mount Royal University invites applications for Credit Contract faculty members in Aviation starting in Winter 2027.
This is a part-time role in the Mount Royal Faculty Association, commencing January 5, 2027.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching. We are seeking candidates who can teach various Aviation management courses, including but not limited to Advanced Aviation Meteorology (to teach this course CPL is required with an IFR rating, ATPL preferred); Human Factors, Safety and Aviation Technology; Airport Management and Life Cycle Analysis Aviation.
In addition to demonstrating the potential for effective teaching, the successful candidate will also approach their work in a way that demonstrates an awareness of issues related to Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Accessibility, and that supports an inclusive environment.
Qualifications
- A completed Master’s Degree in Aviation or a related discipline.
- Teaching experience in Aviation courses at the post-secondary or professional level will be preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
