Class 3 Driver / Delivery Driver (Commercial Moving & Distribution)

Tasks

• Safely operate Class 3 straight trucks (26-foot trucks) for local and regional transportation
• Load and unload merchandise and pallets, including the careful handling of commercial furniture and equipment
• Properly use basic tools (, drills) for disassembly and reassembly when required
• Interact with customers at delivery sites in a courteous and professional manner
• Perform pre-trip inspections (PEP), maintain accurate logbooks, and comply with transportation regulations
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations
• Perform any other related duties as required

Job requirements

• Valid Class 3 driver's licence with a good driving record (SAAQ abstract required)
• Relevant experience operating heavy vehicles and performing regional deliveries
• Must be at least 25 years old (insurance requirement)
• No criminal record and no history of impaired driving offences
• Functional bilingualism in French and English to serve English-speaking customers approximately 50% of the time
• Resourceful, self-motivated, and able to solve basic on-the-job problems
• Excellent punctuality, attendance, and respect for schedules
• Good physical condition and ability to work as part of a team
