Customer Service Representative

Tasks

• Respond to customer calls and emails professionally, courteously and within a reasonable timeframe
• Process and follow up on manual and EDI orders in the ERP system
• Coordinate delivery dates and handle special requests related to orders
• Communicate effectively with customers and the sales team to ensure proper follow-up
• Schedule deliveries with transportation partners and the shipping team
• Coordinate the logistics process for export orders
• Conduct the necessary follow-ups to ensure orders are processed and delivered on time

Job requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in customer service and logistics, ideally in the food manufacturing or distribution industry
• Experience in logistics and proficiency in preparing purchase orders for carriers.
• Fluency in both French and English, spoken and written, to communicate with customers in Ontario (40%);
• Experience using an ERP system, particularly Sage 300, is considered an asset
• Experience processing EDI orders, particularly for major retail chains
