Continental Days: 7AM - 7PM

OR

Continental Nights: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

About the Role

Kelly is currently recruiting experienced Electric Counterbalance Forklift Operators for a leading packaging manufacturer in Brantford. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with recent experience operating electric forklifts in a fast-paced warehouse environment and looking for long-term career growth.

Successful candidates will be comfortable working on 12-hour continental schedules, performing inventory transactions, loading and unloading shipments, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse.

What You'll Do

• Operate an electric counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently
• Complete accurate cycle counts and inventory adjustments
• Pick, stage, and load outbound shipments
• Unload inbound deliveries and verify product accuracy
• Wrap finished goods and scan products into warehouse locations
• Operate warehouse scanning equipment and RF scanners
• Inspect trailers prior to loading and complete required documentation
• Monitor warehouse equipment and report issues as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Work closely with warehouse and production teams to support daily operations

Qualifications

Required:

• Valid external forklift certification
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience operating an electric counterbalance forklift
• Experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment
• Comfortable working 12-hour continental shifts
• Experience using RF scanners or scanner guns
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs on a regular basis

Preferred:

• Experience operating Hyster electric forklifts
• Experience with JDE (JD Edwards)
• Experience in manufacturing or packaging environments
