A career as a Director, Fiduciary Services on the Fiduciary and Philanthropic Services team at National Bank means acting as a strategic partner to our affluent clients. In this role, you will make a meaningful impact through your expertise in trust administration, your communication skills, and your ability to build lasting, trusted relationships.

Your Role

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients by delivering service aligned with fiduciary industry standards.
• Ensure the rigorous administration of client files and communicate progress effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive business development activities with targeted sectors such as Private Banking 1859, National Bank Financial, and the Personal Banking Network.
• Deliver presentations and training sessions to internal partners to support asset retention initiatives.
• Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including the digital transformation of business processes.
• Prepare reports and regular communications for clients.

Your Team

Within National Bank Trust, you will report to the Vice President, Fiduciary and Philanthropic Services and manage a team of two highly experienced industry specialists. You will contribute to the sector’s mission of providing fiduciary services to individuals and specialized advisory services to affluent clients.

Prerequisites

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of five years of relevant experience.
• Professional designation such as Notary, Tax Specialist, or Financial Planner.
• Significant experience in client service and in an advisory or subject matter expert role.
• Availability to travel occasionally based on client needs.
• Strong organizational and priority management skills.
• Knowledge of or experience in estate settlement or trust administration (an asset).
• Knowledge of investments or financial planning (an asset).

Languages:

English, French

Reason to require this language: you will need to serve clients who speak a language other than French regularly.
