With a strong focus on development and internal growth, we're committed to helping our team build meaningful, long-term careers.A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATORAs a Construction Estimator, you'll support the preparation of project estimates by reviewing drawings, gathering quantities, and assisting with cost calculations for materials, labour, and equipment. Your day may include helping analyze tenders, verifying scope details, and ensuring estimates align with project requirements and company standards.You'll work closely with management and sales teams to support proposal development, maintain supplier information, and help present clear, complete estimates. From tracking details to supporting contract discussions, your work will contribute to accurate bidding and successful project outcomes.QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or equivalent experience.Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving abstract. Completion of, or working toward, post-secondary education in Construction Management, Architectural Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related field is preferred.Prior experience in construction, roofing, insulation, or a related trade is an asset.Willingness to learn construction estimating processes and tools.Basic understanding of construction materials, tools, and installation methods.Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and safety guidelines consistently.Basic communication skills to work effectively with team members and supervisors.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in calculations and documentation.If you're detail-oriented, eager to learn, and interested in building a career in estimating, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!ARE YOU READY TO JOIN OUR TEAM?If you believe you're the right fit for this position, please fill out our initial 3-minute, mobile-friendly application.
