Our client, a leading consultancy based in Winnipeg is looking for a Consultant, ICT Systems Architecture - Networking, Security, Hybrid to join their growing team! The successful Consultant, ICT Systems Architecture - Networking, Security, Hybrid candidate will have experience gathering requirements and translating them into High-Level and Low-Level Solution Designs using their expert knowledge of system software, virtualization, networking infrastructure, and security technologies to architect and implement best-practices solutions.

This is a fulltime, permanent position and hybrid in Winnipeg. Managerial references and criminal backcheck required; education and employment verification may be required.

Responsibilities
The successful Consultant, ICT Systems Architecture - Networking, Security, Hybrid candidate will have experience gathering requirements and translating them into High-Level and Low-Level Solution Designs using their expert knowledge of system software, virtualization, networking infrastructure, and security technologies to architect and implement best-practices solutions.

Qualifications
Must-Have Qualifications:

ICT systems architecture/design experience - 3-5Y+
Wireless and wired networking design, implementation, and management - 2-3Y+
MS Windows Server Systems Design and Administration - 2-3Y+
Firewalls (e.g. Cisco, Check Point, Fortinet; which ones?) - Hybrid Environments (On-prem and cloud) - 1-2Y+
Virtualization (VMWare, KVM, Hyper-V) - 3-5Y+
M365/Azure - 2-3Y+
Excellent written and oral communication skills - 3-5Y+
Valid Driver’s License and access to vehicle - 1Y+
Cisco/Meraki routers, switches, and wireless networking solutions - 2-3Y+
Network management and monitoring tools (PRTG, Zabbix, Nagios, SolarWinds etc.) - 2-3Y+

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

Linux - 2-3Y+
AWS - 2-3Y+
Vulnerability Scanning tools (Tenable, Nessus) - 2-3Y+
CCNA/CCNP, Security, or other IT certifications (which ones?) - 2-3Y+
Automation scripting (Bash, Python, SQL, Shell) - 3-5Y+
Aruba/Silverpeak - 2-3Y+
Healthcare, Enterprise, Public Sector, regulated environments - 1-2Y+
Bachelor's Degree in CompSci or similar - 3-4Y+
