Job description

Title: Helpdesk Analyst (B-Lingual)
Location: Halifax, NS, Canada 11111 (Remote)
This is a remote role

Day to Day Job Duties:

  • Manage inbound support requests via multiple channels: Chat, Telephone, Automated Email, and Portal-generated requests
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot Level 1 issues with personal computer hardware, software, and peripherals
  • Answer the help desk line and respond to user requests regarding computer systems
  • Acknowledge receipt of all user requests within defined service levels
  • Initiate service orders (tickets) for all user requests, assisting users as needed to gather appropriate information
  • Maintain user information and documentation
  • Ensure client requests via the ticketing system are managed through to closure

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be fluent in French Canadian and English
  • Strong telephone etiquette skills
  • Ability to build business relationships and communicate effectively with the user community
  • Basic troubleshooting skills
  • Basic understanding of network, server, and desktop administration fundamentals - installations, upgrades, techniques, tools, and equipment
