Post-secondary business degree in Accounting or Finance.

CPA or near completion (or 5 to 7+ years of relevant experience in a similar role).

3-5+ years of experience within an accounting or financial analysis role.

Experience working with financial shared services (AP, AR, Treasury, etc.).

Advanced Microsoft Office skills.

Experience with financial audits, Cognos TM1, government contracts, or payroll (all considered assets).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Collaborative team player with strong attention to detail and data interpretation skills.

Due to the nature of work Irving Shipbuilding does, all successful applicants must meet requirements for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
