Experience with implementing the use of assistive technology, visual supports, or alternative and augmentative communication (AAC). Familiarity with self-regulation, co-regulation, and sensory-informed practices. Ability to remain calm, regulated, and emotionally present in dynamic learning environments, including during times of student dysregulation or behavioural challenge. Strong attunement to students' verbal and non-verbal communication, responding in a respectful, culturally responsive, and developmentally appropriate manner.
