Position Summary: School District No. 91 (Nechako Lakes) is seeking applications for Casual Administrative Assistants to support schools in the Burns Lake area, including Granisle, Grassy Plains, Decker Lake, and Francois Lake. This is a casual position with no guaranteed hours.The successful candidate will perform a variety of clerical and administrative duties to support the efficient and effective operation of a school office—typically in a single-person office environment. Responsibilities include:Filing, photocopying, and record keepingTyping correspondence, reports, and newslettersManaging reception duties and handling confidential informationSending/receiving faxes and general office communicationProviding basic bookkeeping supportQualifications:Completion of Grade 12 (Dogwood Certificate)Completion of an Applied Business Technology program or Administrative Assistant CertificateMinimum of 1 year of recent, relevant office experience (school setting preferred)WHMIS 2015 Certificate and familiarity with WorkSafeBC safety procedures**Please note, the rate of pay is dependent on which position you are filling in for**Application Instructions:To apply, please complete or update your Make A Future portfolio.
