Job description

Job description

Reporting to the Vice-President, Product & Technology Operations, you will be responsible for ensuring that Product & Technology operates as a transparent, predictable, and commercially aligned organization. You will serve as the operational bridge between Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Product Marketing, Customer Success, Support, and Executives. In addition to leading goto-market readiness, the role partners closely with the VP, Product & Technology Operations in supporting CPTO-level operating cadence, executive coordination, strategic initiatives, and leadership follow-through.

In your day to day, you will be responsible for:

  • Go-to-Market Product Operations: Own the end-to-end operating model for product launches, ensuring cross-functional readiness and consistent execution. Own executive Go/No-Go readiness for major product releases.

  • Cross-functional Alignment: Create visibility into what is planned, in delivery, and released so every customer-facing team can plan and execute confidently.

  • Leveraging AI and automation to improve operational workflows, reporting, and cross-functional execution.

  • Executive Operations: Act as a senior operational partner to the VP Product & Technology Operations by coordinating meetings, tracking strategic actions, preparing executive materials, and driving follow-through across the Product & Technology organization.

  • Packaging & Pricing: Lead cross-functional product packaging efforts and chair the Pricing Council, balancing customer value, market positioning, pricing psychology, and sustainable margins.

  • Operational Excellence: Define governance, metrics, launch playbooks, release communications, post-launch reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Stakeholder Management: Build trusted partnerships across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Success, Support, and the Executive team.

Success Measures

  • Organization-wide visibility into roadmap, releases, and delivered customer value.

  • Improved cross-functional alignment and execution of launches.

  • High-quality executive operating cadence with reliable follow-through.

  • Effective product packaging and pricing decisions that support growth and margin objectives.

  • Predictable launch execution supported by measurable operational KPIs.

Job requirements

Your profile

  • 10+ years in Product Management, Product Operations, Product Strategy or closely related leadership roles.

  • Experience influencing senior executives and leading through cross-functional relationships.

  • Experience operating in Agile product organizations within startup, scale-up or fast-changing environments.

  • Demonstrated success building operating models, governance, and executive cadences.

  • Strong business acumen, including experience with packaging and pricing.

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.

  • Healthcare technology or regulated industry experience is a bonus.

We recognize that experience comes in many forms. If you're excited about this opportunity but don't meet every qualification listed, we encourage you to apply.

Why joining us

  • This role combines strategic product operations, commercial execution, and executive leadership support. It is designed for a senior operator who can translate strategy into execution, increase organizational transparency, and ensure Product & Technology delivers predictable outcomes aligned with business priorities.

  • This role provides significant exposure to executives and is designed for someone interested in progressively taking on broader strategic responsibilities.

  • Help transform one of Canada's leading healthcare technology companies.

Our benefits

  • 4 to 6 weeks of paid vacation per year;

  • 5 paid personal days per year;

  • A group RRSP / DPSP plan with employer contribution;

  • A complete group insurance plan, from day 1;

  • An annual wellness allowance;

  • Access to the Lumino Health™ telehealth application;

  • Recurring remote/hybrid work allowance; In our opinion, a company cannot claim to be modern, innovative and have the well-being of their team at heart, without attempting to integrate remote working to the level that their business model allows them to.

Petal is an active participant in the equal opportunity employment program, and members of the following target groups are encouraged to apply: women, people with disabilities, aboriginal peoples and visible minorities. If you are a person with a disability, assistance with the screening and selection process is available on request.
