The Region of Durham is hiring two Project Engineers for transportation design projects. You will coordinate, review, and deliver well-engineered plans, leading a team to meet community needs. Support the preparation of proposals and ensure compliance with policies that guide Regional transportation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support technical review of road project submissions
• Deliver timely, well-engineered plans for projects
• Organize work activities of technical staff and consultants
• Mentor staff for effective resource utilization
• Coordinate transportation issues across divisions and agencies
Requirements:
• Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent experience
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario
• Several years of experience in road planning and design
• Knowledge of environmental assessments and municipal guidelines
• Strong skills in project management and communication
